Nootan Ayurvedic College & Research Centre, Sankalchand Patel University, successfully organized an Expert Lecture on “Ayurveda Beyond Practice: Capacity Building Activities in Entrepreneurship Development in Context of Ayurveda Field” under the Transitional Curriculum (Ayurpraveshika-2025): An Introductory Gateway into Ayurveda on 05 December 2025.
The objective of the programme was to sensitize undergraduate students of BAMS batch 2025-26 towards diverse career opportunities beyond clinical practice and to encourage entrepreneurial thinking within the Ayurveda domain.
The expert lecture was delivered by Dr. Poona Nath Chouhan, Consultant, Department of Shalya Tantra and Coordinator Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, NACRC. Dr. Chouhan highlighted various entrepreneurship avenues in the Ayurveda sector, including wellness centers, pharmaceutical ventures, healthcare startups, research organizations, and innovation-driven practices. He also emphasized the importance of capacity building, skill development, and strategic planning for successful entrepreneurship in the evolving healthcare ecosystem.
