Nootan Ayurvedic College & Research Centre, Sankalchand Patel University, successfully organized an Expert Lecture on “Ayurveda and Agriculture (Krishi Ayurveda)” under the Transitional Curriculum (Ayurpraveshika-2025): An Introductory Gateway into Ayurveda on 15 December 2025.
The programme aimed to introduce undergraduate students to the concept of Krishi Ayurveda, highlighting the interrelationship between Ayurveda, agriculture, and sustainable farming practices.
The expert lecture was delivered by Dr. Drakshayani Benni, HOD & Professor. Dr. Benni elaborated on Ayurvedic principles related to soil health, plant nutrition, natural farming techniques, and the relevance of traditional knowledge systems in modern agricultural practices. The session emphasized the role of Ayurveda in promoting eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture.
