Charaka Jayanthi Celebration and World Sanskrit Day 2026
The Department of Samhita, Sanskrit and Siddhanta, Nootan Ayurvedic College & Research Centre (NACRC), Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, successfully organized Charaka Jayanthi Celebration and World Sanskrit day on 17th August 2026.
The programme was conducted as a tribute to Maharshi Charaka, the pioneer of Ayurveda, with the active participation of faculty members and students. Various academic and cultural activities were organized, including Samhita Parayana in online mode in association with Vishva Ayurveda Parishad, Gujarat, a role-play video presentation, and a sanskrit nrithya performed by students.
An exhibition highlighting the versatility and importance of sanskrit language and a poster-making competition on charaka samhita were also conducted to promote creativity and academic involvement among students.
The celebration witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed faculty members and enthusiastic students of the institute.
